Important before you enroll

MedConEd provides the online didactic portion only. Completion of this online course by itself does not authorize a clinician to provide ALS interfacility transport or satisfy every service-specific requirement. Appendix A1 places responsibility on the transferring ambulance service to ensure and verify appropriate IFT training. Your employer/service must separately provide and document hands-on equipment familiarization and competency with its actual devices and technologies, including ventilators, IV infusion pumps, chest drainage equipment, and other service-specific IFT equipment as applicable, together with required service policies and medical-director oversight.
