Refund Policy
MedConEd wants learners to be confident in their purchase. Because our courses provide immediate access to online educational content and continuing-education credit, refunds are available under the conditions below.
Standard Refund Eligibility
You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase if:
Refund requests that meet these conditions will normally be approved.
Courses That Have Been Substantially Used
Refunds are generally not available once:
These limitations help protect the integrity of continuing-education records and prevent completed educational content from being refunded after it has been used.
Purchased the Wrong Course or Certification Level
If you accidentally purchase the wrong course or certification level, contact MedConEd as soon as possible.
If you have not substantially begun the course and no certificate has been issued, we will generally allow you to transfer your payment to the appropriate MedConEd course rather than requiring you to purchase a second course.
If the replacement course costs more, you will be responsible for the difference. If it costs less, MedConEd may refund the difference to the original payment method.
Duplicate Purchases or Duplicate Charges
Duplicate purchases or duplicate payment transactions will be refunded in full after verification.
Technical Problems
If a technical problem caused by MedConEd prevents you from accessing or completing a purchased course, please contact us so we can attempt to correct the problem.
If MedConEd is unable to restore reasonable access to the course, we will provide an appropriate refund, course replacement, or account credit.
Refunds are not normally provided for problems caused by a learner's internet connection, unsupported device or browser configuration, forgotten login credentials, or other conditions outside MedConEd's control when reasonable technical support or an alternative method of access is available.
State, National Registry, or Credentialing Requirement Changes
Continuing-education and recertification requirements may change.
If a regulatory agency changes its requirements after your purchase and the purchased course can no longer reasonably be used for its intended continuing-education purpose, MedConEd will review the situation individually and may provide a refund, course substitution, or account credit.
This provision does not apply when the course remains valid continuing education but the learner later determines that they need different or additional education to satisfy a state, agency, employer, or certification requirement.
Course Access Period
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, learners are provided up to 365 days from the date of purchase to complete the course.
The purchase is for the educational course and the opportunity to complete it within the stated access period. It is not a subscription or guarantee of perpetual access.
Refunds are not provided solely because a learner did not complete the course before the access period expired.
Failure to Complete or Pass a Course
Refunds are not normally available because a learner:
MedConEd may, when appropriate, provide reasonable assistance or allow additional attempts in accordance with the requirements of the applicable course.
How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted to MedConEd and should include:
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Financial institutions and payment processors may require additional time before the refund appears on the customer's account.
Exceptions
MedConEd may make reasonable exceptions to this policy when unusual circumstances warrant it.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or consumer rights that may be required by applicable law.
